Toetanchamon of Toetankhamon was een farao van de 18e Dynastie van het Oude Egypte. Hij heette oorspronkelijk Toetanchaton, later werd om politiek-religieuze redenen zijn naam veranderd in Toetanchamon, wat zoveel betekent als: "Levend evenbeeld van Amon". Zijn troonnaam Nebcheperoere betekent: "Heer van de manifestaties van Ra".

His original name was Toetanchaton, later became for political-religious reasons changed his name in Tutankhamun, which means: "living image of Amun".
